PFAS can have several effects on our bodies. When eaten, PFAS can remain in our bodies for a long time after first coming into contact with us. This explains why this particular group of dangerous compounds has such severe health impacts. The proximity of industrial sites, military installations, and airports are where PFAS water pollution occurs most frequently.
